Rising star Litlhonolofatso Litlhakanyane celebrated a major career milestone this past weekend after winning Best Supporting Actor in a TV Soap at the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs).
The awards ceremony, widely known as #SAFTAs19, was held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.
Litlhonolofatso earned the award for his portrayal of Tebello, also known as Tibi, on the popular e.tv soapie Scandal!.
Speaking in a post-awards interview, the young actor described the achievement as only the start of what he believes will be a promising journey.
“The Beginning,” he said when asked how he would title this moment in his life.
