Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma takes a swipe at Mmusi Maimane as BOSA records 454 votes

March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has taken a swipe at Build One South Africa (BOSA) leader Dr Mmusi Maimane following the party’s performance in the 2026 Local Government Elections.

In a Facebook post, Ngobese-Zuma appeared to direct her remarks at Maimane, writing: “Another one who called us Xenophobic.”

Her comment comes amid the ongoing political debate surrounding March and March’s stance on undocumented immigration and accusations of xenophobia levelled against the movement.

BOSA has received 454 votes nationally according to the current election count.

Although Ngobese-Zuma did not mention Maimane by name in the post, her remark appears to reference criticism directed at her movement by political figures who have described its position on immigration as xenophobic.
