Leader of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party, Jacob Zuma, says an MK government will build houses, schools and hospitals in rural areas where black communities live, adding that people should not continue suffering because of poor access to services.
Speaking during a Youth Day event in Ermelo, Zuma said development must reach communities that have historically been left behind.
He told supporters that under an MK government, communities in rural areas will have access to infrastructure and public services closer to where they live and that people should not struggle to access healthcare, education and decent housing.
Zuma said the party’s vision is to improve living conditions and ensure development reaches ordinary people.
