Tsakane Matlala, the wife of jailed businessman Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala, has laid a criminal complaint against actress and media personality Tebogo Thobejane.
Matlala accuses Thobejane of cyberbullying, defamation, intimidation and online harassment, alleging that the actress has repeatedly followed and monitored her during court appearances linked to her husband’s case.
The dispute reportedly escalated after Thobejane shared social media posts referring to Tsakane Matlala as a “killer” and describing Cat Matlala as a “nkabi” (hitman).
Thobejane has also claimed publicly that Tsakane was pleased when her husband allegedly arranged a hit on her life.
The conflict between the parties has drawn public attention due to their past relationship history. Thobejane and Cat Matlala were previously romantically involved.
Cat Matlala is currently in custody facing several charges, including the attempted murder of Thobejane, among other allegations.
The criminal complaint marks the latest development in the ongoing legal and personal dispute involving the three individuals.
Investigations are expected to continue as authorities assess the allegations raised in the complaint.
