Tsaka RSA appears in court over alleged illegal firearm possession after bold claims about Mkhwanazi

Lekompo artist Paul Madubanyana known as Tsaka RSA reportedly appeared in court on Monday in connection with the alleged possession of an illegal firearm and 52 rounds of ammunition.

The court appearance comes after the musician allegedly made bold remarks about his status and Police Commissioner General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi during a podcast interview.

During the interview, Madubanyana reportedly described himself as “King Kong” and a “President”, claiming that he would never be arrested. He also allegedly said he was not afraid of General Mkhwanazi, describing the police chief as a child in comparison to him, and made insulting remarks about the general.

The musician is now facing a case involving the alleged possession of an illegal firearm and 52 rounds of ammunition, according to the information provided.

The firearm reportedly had its serial number erased. It is also alleged that the weapon will undergo further examination to establish whether it may be linked to other criminal cases.

The outcome of those examinations has not been established, and the allegations do not in themselves prove that the firearm was used in any other offence.
