South African football has been rocked by reports that Jayden Adams, the Mamelodi Sundowns and South Africa national football team midfielder, has died at the age of 25.
Adams, who recently represented Bafana Bafana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, was regarded as one of South Africa’s brightest midfield talents and played a key role for both club and country.
The midfielder featured for South Africa during the World Cup and had also enjoyed a successful spell with Mamelodi Sundowns following his move to the club.
