South African music sensation Tyla has reportedly signed a multi-million-dollar global deal with Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by Jay-Z, marking one of the biggest business moves of her career.
The reported agreement comes just weeks before the release of Tyla’s highly anticipated second studio album, APOP, which is scheduled to be released on 24 July 2026. The announcement was unveiled through a digital billboard takeover in New York City’s Times Square, signalling the start of a new chapter for the Grammy-winning star.
The move reportedly follows Tyla’s decision not to renew her previous deal with Epic Records, paving the way for her partnership with Roc Nation.
By joining Roc Nation, Tyla becomes part of a star-studded roster that includes artists such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Tiwa Savage and Ayra Starr.
The deal is widely seen as another major milestone in Tyla’s rapid rise on the global music scene and is expected to further expand her international reach ahead of her upcoming album release.
