A 20-year-old woman, identified as Xabiso Pearl Kambi, was shot and killed by three unknown men in Tsakane, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, on 31 December 2025.
According to information available, Kambi was working at her family’s shop at the time of the incident when the suspects approached her in an alleged attempt to rob her of a money bag she was carrying. The suspects reportedly opened fire before fleeing the scene.
Kambi was declared dead at the scene. No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.
The killing has left the Tsakane community in shock, with residents mourning the loss of yet another young life under violent circumstances. Police investigations are ongoing.
