A woman who had been cooking on the pavement for several years was shot and killed on Wanderers Street in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, in an incident that has shocked the local community.
According to reports, the woman was a familiar figure in the area and had become part of the daily street life, where she regularly prepared food in public.
Suspect Fled the Scene
Police say an unknown male suspect opened fire before fleeing the scene. A murder case has since been opened, and authorities have launched a manhunt to trace the shooter.
