Woman Accused of Decapitating Sister Sent for Mental Evaluation After Court Outburst

Aletta Rose has reappeared in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court, where she is facing charges relating to the murder and alleged decapitation of her sister in March this year.

During proceedings, shocking details also emerged regarding Rose’s past.

It is alleged that in 1997, Rose killed and decapitated her brother, for which she was arrested, convicted and later released on parole.

Court proceedings reportedly descended into chaos after Rose allegedly insulted people inside the courtroom, including the magistrate, and allegedly threatened to kill everyone present.

Following the disturbing outburst, the magistrate ordered that Rose undergo mental observation to assess her mental state.

The matter is expected to continue following the outcome of the psychiatric evaluation.
