According to reports, messages between:

  • Tiego Mabusela
  • Musa Kekana

suggest detailed planning around the alleged kidnapping of Jerry Boshoga.

In one exchange, Mabusela allegedly shared a photo of Boshoga, followed by the message:

“That’s the guy.”

Further messages reveal discussions around payment:

“Me and you we tell the team that it’s R1 million just to grab and deliver him… after 3 days we collect… Cause I think 5 clipa [R500k each] aside for us is fine…”

Kekana allegedly responded:

“1M is fine… they’ll be fine with it cause it’s just taking him.”

The chats suggest a R1 million operation, with individuals expecting to earn R500,000 each.

Mabusela and Kekana are described as part of a feared group operating in and around Atteridgeville, Pretoria, allegedly involved in:
