Several people have died following a head-on collision between a taxi and a bus near Standerton in Mpumalanga.
The crash reportedly occurred about 5 kilometres outside Standerton on the Morgenzon Road, leaving multiple passengers dead and several others injured.
Emergency services responded to the scene, where victims were found trapped and critically injured following the collision.
According to reports, four passengers sustained serious injuries, while another person suffered moderate injuries.
All injured victims were transported to Standerton Hospital for medical treatment.
