Fadiel Adams Blames Mkhwanazi for Alleged 4AM Raid on Mitchells Plain Home

National Coloured Congress MP Fadiel Adams has launched a scathing attack on senior police official Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, accusing him of orchestrating an alleged unlawful early-morning raid at his former home.

Adams claims members of a police task team carried out the operation at around 4am on Saturday at a property he previously occupied in Mitchells Plain.

“Unlawful operation”

The outspoken MP alleges that the raid was conducted without proper legal grounds, raising serious questions about the conduct of the officers involved and the legality of the operation.

Explosive remarks

In a strongly worded statement, Adams did not hold back, describing Mkhwanazi as:

“the weakest police commissioner this country has had in 30 years”

He went further, calling him a:

“coward from KZN who ran away when the country needed him.”

Questions around police conduct

The allegations have intensified scrutiny around police operations and accountability, particularly in high-profile cases involving politicians.

At this stage, there has been no official response from police addressing Adams’ claims or confirming the details of the raid.
