The Madlanga Commission has rejected taxi boss Bafana “King of the Sky” Sindane’s bid to postpone his testimony, ordering that evidence linked to him be heard on Monday, September 28.
Sindane had sought to delay his appearance before the commission, with his legal team previously citing several reasons for his absence, including a medical certificate, a spiritual journey and an urgent court application.
The commission has now directed that evidence relating to Sindane proceed on Monday.
The development sets the stage for the commission to hear evidence linked to the taxi boss despite his continued legal efforts to delay his appearance.
