Police have ruled out the theory that one serial killer is responsible for the deaths of four women whose bodies were discovered in Kempton Park between July and September 2026.
According to police, a suspect allegedly linked to the first two deaths was arrested and remains in custody. However, two more bodies were discovered after his arrest, leading investigators to believe that the four cases may not be connected to a single perpetrator.
The latest body was found in Rhodesfield on 12 September. While there has been speculation that it could be that of missing 38-year-old runner Elizabeth Moselakgomo, this has not been confirmed. Her family is expected to assist with the identification process.
Police investigations into all four deaths are continuing, with a specialised team examining the circumstances surrounding each case. Women in and around Kempton Park have meanwhile been urged to remain cautious and avoid walking or running alone.
