The South African Police Service>, together with partner agencies, seized counterfeit goods estimated to be worth R10 million during an operation conducted at a shopping complex in Bellville on 16 June 2026.

More than 40 shops were reportedly raided during the operation.
Authorities confiscated a range of allegedly counterfeit items, including branded clothing, footwear, handbags, watches and accessories.

The operation forms part of ongoing efforts aimed at combating counterfeit trade and enforcing intellectual property laws.

Further investigations are expected to continue following the seizures.
