A female Bolt driver in Pretoria has sparked widespread online debate after footage emerged showing how calmly she handled an alleged armed robbery in Nellmapius.
According to reports, the driver was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by two unknown men, who demanded money from her during the incident.
In the video, the woman can reportedly be seen remaining calm and cooperating with the suspects, eventually sending them money through an ABSA Cash Send transaction.
The suspects were allegedly heard repeatedly saying, “We were not expecting a woman,” during the robbery.
At one point, the driver reportedly pleaded with the men not to harm her, explaining that she has two small children depending on her.
Despite the terrifying situation, the robbers also appeared relatively calm as the woman complied with their demands.
In a moment that has left many South Africans shocked and divided online, the driver was heard saying “Sho my bras” — loosely translated to “Bye my brothers” — as the suspects left the scene.
The incident has sparked intense debate on social media, with some praising the woman for remaining composed and prioritising her survival, while others expressed disbelief at how calm the interaction appeared despite the danger involved.
