Warrant of Arrest Issued for Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni and Co-Accused

A warrant of arrest has reportedly been issued for taxi boss and businessman Joe Sibanyoni, popularly known as “Joe Ferrari”, along with his co-accused:

  • Bafana Sindane
  • Mvimbi Masilela
  • Philemon Msiza

The development comes after the case involving Sibanyoni and the others was recently struck off the roll, following an incident where the prosecutor was found in contempt of court for failing to appear.

The accused are linked to an R2.2 million extortion case, which the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has reportedly been preparing to reinstate.

Further details surrounding the circumstances that led to the issuing of the warrants are expected to emerge.
