Brown Mogotsi has been arrested after allegedly falsely claiming that unknown gunmen tried to kill him in Vosloorus, in a case that has now taken a dramatic turn.
According to allegations, investigations revealed that the reported shooting may have been staged or falsely reported, leading to charges linked to defeating or obstructing the administration of justice.
Authorities further claim that the firearm allegedly used in the shooting of Mogotsi’s vehicle has since been linked to other serious crimes, including murder and attempted murder cases, raising further concerns about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are continuing investigations into the origin and use of the firearm, with ballistic evidence reportedly connecting it to violent criminal activity.
