Lekompo star Shebeshxt, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke, is now facing a total of 20 criminal charges after being hit with 11 additional charges, on top of the nine charges he was already facing.
The new developments emerged during his appearance before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court, where legal proceedings in his case continue to unfold.
The matter has now been postponed to 28 May 2026, when Shebeshxt is expected to return to court as the case progresses.
Earlier during proceedings, the court also approved an urgent request by his legal team for him to receive medical treatment for his injured leg, ordering that he be taken to a doctor before being transferred to correctional services.
The growing number of charges is expected to intensify public interest in the case, with supporters and critics closely watching developments surrounding the controversial musician.
