SAPS Orders Fadiel Adams to Surrender Over Magaqa Case Charges

The South African Police Service has issued a call for Fadiel Adams to immediately hand himself over to police, confirming that he is wanted on charges of fraud and defeating the ends of justice.

Police say the charges are linked to alleged interference in the investigation into the murder of former ANC Youth League leader Sindiso Magaqa.

According to SAPS, a warrant of arrest is already in place, and multiple attempts have been made to locate Adams. Authorities further revealed that arrangements had been made for him to surrender on 4 May 2026, but he failed to do so and also did not appear before a KwaZulu-Natal court as expected.

SAPS has now escalated the matter, urging Adams to cooperate with law enforcement and report to the nearest police station without delay, warning that efforts to track him down are ongoing.
