Judgment in the bail application of popular Lekompo artist Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, known as Shebeshxt, is expected to be delivered on Thursday, 30 April 2026 at 10:00 at the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court.
Shebeshxt appeared in court on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, for the continuation of his bail application hearing.
Proceedings resumed after an earlier postponement, which was granted to allow both the State and the defence to submit their closing arguments.
The matter has attracted significant public attention, with the court now set to determine whether Chauke will remain in custody or be granted bail pending further proceedings.
